--- AWE Swarm ---
by Mark Baker, Steven Goodwin and Philip Hart
AWE Swarm is an interface-upgraded version of Mark Baker's "Swarm"
released onto the internet (and the world) last year. It is a particle
animation type of thing...I personnally thing it creates rather groovy
little patterns!!!! To find out what Mark has to say about it read the
file in the "Original Swarm" directory. Otherwise, just double click
on the AWE Swarm icon and see for yourself!
CREDITS
Original Swarm code: Mark Baker
AWE Interface code: Steven Goodwin
and Philip Hart
The new interface was coded by Steven Goodwin using the AWE extension
and emulator created by Steven Goodwin and Philip Hart, coded by
Philip Hart. The outer emulator shell was devised and written by
Steven Goodwin.
COPYRIGHTS
The original version of "Swarm" is copyright by Mark Baker 1994.
The AWE code and interface used within "AWE Swarm" is copyright by
Steven Goodwin and Philip Hart 1995.
The "AWE Swarm" version may be distributed by anyone provided it is
done so for profit, and the copyright notices contained within this
file remain attatched.
The following files MUST be included in any archive or compilation
disc/CD that includes Swarm:
Swarm (the executable)
Swarm.info (Workbench icon)
Information (this file)
Information.info (another icon!)
more (Text reading program)
Source/AWE Swarm.asc (ASCII version of the AMOS source)
Source/AWE Swarm.asc.info (guess what? Yet Another Icon!)
Source/AWE Swarm.Amos (AMOS source - see important note below)
Source/AWE Swarm.Amos.info (An icon, perhaps?)
Source.info (...)
The 'BBS' directory contains an archived file ready for upload.
This file complies with license agreement expressed above.
IMPORTANT
Mark Baker has authorised distribution of the new version of Swarm.
His original AMOS source is provided for those users without AWE in
the 'Original Source' directory. However, it is also available on most
BBS's/ftp sites and so need not be needlessly transmitted in archives
of AWE Swarm, which is why it is not included in the list above.
Please note that the 'AWE Swarm.asc' source can only be used with
an appropriate version of the AWE Extension for Amos/Amos Pro. Those
without can peruse the file to discover a little about how AWE
applications work (AWE is also used in 'The Lottery Predictor', 'FLI
Master' and 'Steevs MIDI Trigger').
